Cancel Your Weekend Plans, The Bali Vegan Festival Is On Again!
If you missed our top 6 must attend events in October article than you may have missed last weekend’s Bali Vegan Festival. Lucky for you, the team behind one of our favourite wellness and food events is chucking a second festival this weekend at the surf village of Canggu.
Yep, after a successful weekend In Ubud serving up delicious plant-based food, talks, hands-on workshops, cooking demos, community yoga, concerts and community discussions, the team behind the Bali Vegan Festival are gracing the shores of our favourite surf village, Canggu.
From the 12-14 October, head to the shores of Canggu for another delectable dose of Vegan cooking classes, inspirational talks, healing classes, bodyworks and much, much more. Whether you’re a proud vegan, vivacious vegetarian, omnivore, flexitarian or just vegan-curious, the Bali Vegan Festival is for everyone and anyone! With a promise of great eats, insightful conversations and body movement that has us booking tickets for the whole fam, here are three reasons you should be adding the Bali Vegan Festival 2018 to your weekend plans.
With the vegan movement stronger than ever, Bali has well and truly stepped up to the mark with local restaurants and cafes serving up some of the best vegan eats we’ve ever had! Now you can experience the best of Bali’s plant-based cuisine all in one place. From some of our favourite spots such as Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud and Uluwatu, plant-based connoisseurs are bringing their best eats to the Bali Vegan Festival. You can expect smoothies, turmeric lattes, fresh mylk coffee and raw vegan treats. Plus, meatballs, burgers and fish ‘n’ chips - all vegan of course! Once your finished eating to your heart’s content explore the local stores showcasing vegan clothing, handicrafts, jewellery and beauty brands.
We don’t mean to alarm you but the vegan community aren’t the preaching, meat-eater hating group sensationalized in the media. In fact, they’re a really supportive, inclusive community of cruelty-free living enthusiasts. If you’re not a vegan or even a vegetarian do not stress - this festival isn’t and exclusive vegan party. If you’re open to a community that is spreading a message of love, kindness and compassion for all kinds then the Bali Vegan Festival is for you!
